Will Pearce Mcgregor Casting Workshop – Teens (12 – 17yrs)
We welcome casting director, Will Pearce McGregor Casting Workshop to give his insight and tips on auditioning for film and TV. This is the first time we have offered a Mcgregor casting workshop for teens. Mcgregor casting is one of the biggest casting houses in Australia.
It’s a 4 hour workshop opened to those teens ( 12 – 17yrs) serious about auditioning for film and Tv work. Limited to 13 participants.
Will Pearce Mcgregor Casting Workshop Details.
Will’s workshop will begin with a Q & A where teens can ask anything about the industry and the casting process. A collection of scenes from previous film/tv projects that Will has worked on, will be shared prior. Participants will prepare a scene at audition standard to present to Will.
.
The Workshop will play out the like a real in person casting session – with open feedback amongst the group, whilst giving insight into what CD’s seek in the audition.
All of the selected scenes are two handers, so we would have actors take turns in reading opposite throughout the session.
Would also include a Q&A – which would be an open & transparent discussion about anything related to casting + demystifying the process for the actors.
What to bring
2 x printed copies of chosen script
Drink bottle & morning tea ( no peanut products)
A SD card ( 32GB ideal) to take home work ( Avoid micro SD cards)
