Speech & Drama Eisteddfod Workshop 13 – 17yrs

Speech & Drama Eisteddfod Workshop: Is your child the next 1st place? Or are they wanting to compete in an Eisteddfod?

We seek participants who want to blitz the local Eisteddfod with engaging poems or monologues.

The Speech & Drama Eisteddfod workshop will get your child primed to perform at the local Northern Beaches Eisteddfod. Students will find out how Eisteddfods work and how to bring their best performance on the day.

Junior Team – Each student (8 – 12 years) will be given an exciting poem to memorise.

Senior Team – Each student (12 – 16 years) will be given a poem or monologue to learn and present on the day. After expert guidance and setting the winning formula, each student will receive a certificate with encouraging feedback. Students may take their newfound skills to a local Eisteddfod for some live audience and competition experience.

The workshop session concludes with a mock Eisteddfod experience for students exploring clarity, expression and stage presence to take to their next Speech and Drama Eisteddfod.
