This 4 hour workshop will begin with a very brief chat with Richard, and take place on the stage at Point Break. All participants will be partnered up at least 2 weeks prior to workshop ( earlier if possible). Participants will select and prepare a scene for Richard at performance standard ( Scenes must be selected by the participants this time – 4 mins max) and present their work . Each couple will work with Richard for approx 30 mins. Richard will workshop scenes, and give personal one on one feedback to each actor. There will be only 12 participants in the class ensuring more time on the floor. Participants must bring all props and set material to the workshop. Note: 10 minutes max is allocated to setup for each scene, so keep it simple.
I walked away from Richards workshop with some very valuable bits of information that only years of working professionally in the industry can give you. I’ll definitely be taking these with me on set. Leanne Mauro
