Autumn Holiday Acting Workshop:
The Autumn Holiday Acting workshop on Sydney’s northern beaches, is designed to challenge children & teenagers, with new ideas about acting and performance, and give them tastes of different areas.

Once again this holiday drama workshop will be split into two age groups. Kids (7-10yrs) and Teens (11-17yrs).
The Holiday Acting workshop will take place in at Point Break Drama – Dee Why, late in the school holidays on Wednesday 24th ( 1 day hiatus for Anzac day) & Friday 26th April, 2019 from 9am – 4pm on each day.
The Early bird Price (5% off) to end on April 8th for the two full days is just $200.
The course must be paid in full with application.
Autumn Holiday Acting Workshop Detail and Enrollment Details:
MOVEMENT / VOICE TECHNIQUE
Through a series of breathing and centering techniques, participants will learn how better to use the human instrument so they can effectively communicate with an audience!
ACTING / AUDITIONING FOR THE CAMERA
An in-depth look at the film/ TV casting process, & how to improve your chances of getting a job. Students will prepare &, rehearse scenes in front of camera.The older group will be expected to offer constructive feedback in the role of a producer choosing their own cast. Scenes will be taken from current TV / film shows.
DRAMA SPORTS & IMPROVISATION
Students will be taken through a fun and challenging improvisation and Drama sports workshop, covering an array of skills and high-energy drama sports games. Essential skills for those wanting to get work in commercials.
ACTING TECHNIQUE
A key part of this workshop will be exposing students to new acting techniques. It’s important to us to keep challenging and offering students a fresh approach to acting. A good actor has an understanding of many techniques and uses what works for them.
