Point Break Drama Acting school is one of the most well-established acting/performing arts schools in metropolitan Sydney. Situated in Dee why, Point Break Drama has provided an acting school of the highest calibre to Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
All courses are taught by working professional actors with teaching expertise and training. The brainchild of Adam Stewart and Paul Winchester Point Break was set up to fill the huge void in acting and singing tuition on the Northern Beaches.
Point Break Drama offers part-time acting courses to teenagers, kids and adults. Adults can choose from three levels of Acting Basics or take a course in Acting for Camera. Youth drama runs twice weekly and concurrently with the school term and offers students an exciting array of performance styles. Kids Acting runs on Thursday afternoons.
Tutors Adam Stewart, Paul Winchester & Matt Charleston are professional actors who have all trained at major prestigious performing arts schools-Theatre Nepean, Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts & NIDA respectively.
Paul Winchester is one of Australia’s rising acting talents. Paul has carved out an acting career from appearing in a number of Indie flicks and TV roles, & award winning short films.
Charlotte Hazzard began acting in high school after she developed a great passion for the performing arts, particularly for the performing arts, particularly public speaking and drama.
Adam first appeared on the stage at the age of twelve as “The Fairy Godmother” in a production of Cinderella. His love for Acting took him all the way to one of the most prestigious performing arts schools in Sydney, Theatre Nepean (University of Western Sydney) where he graduated in 2001.
Monica Kade has recently returned from living in New York City, where she was accepted into the Atlantic Theater Company, New York. She also trained consistently with Award Winning LA acting coach Gregory Berger-Sobeck and Karen Kohlhaas.
Originally from Tasmania, Matt Charleston trained as an actor at NIDA. Matt has also studied extensively in LA, where he participated in a number workshops with industry heavyweights like Howard Fine, Dee Wallace Stone and Amy Lyndon.
